As the battle to fill the available 13th grid slot in F1 2011 ostensibly boils down to Epsilon Euskadi, Villeneuve Racing/Durango and Stefan GP, the former appears to have stolen a march on its two rivals...

Oh god, here we go again but USGP/FIA are to blame for the jaded view we have on this process. Any news on which engine they're forced to use this time to keep people happy ? Maybe its Matra this year as they've been out of it a few years.

Sergio Rinland has designed some good cars not least the 2001 Sauber that Kimi dazzled in during his debut F1 season - that was about the forth or fith best car on the grid as I recall *However as far as I am aware that was the last car that he was Chief Designer of and 10 years in F1terms is a lifetime,so whether he is qualified to design a current car is up for debate.

JVP is obviously well respected in racing circles as a team manager / operations manager and runs a competent operation in Epsilon - however they have won nothing since Kubica won WSR in 2005 and the LMP they built for Le Mans was er....Crap :-)

In summary nice facilities but probably the new Minardi :)
