F1 » Webber insists he's taking each race one at a time

Once again the 'winningest' driver of F1 2010 and once again atop the world championship standings in the wake of his brilliant Hungarian triumph, Red Bull Racing star Mark Webber insists all he is thinking about right now is 'the next race'

Spoken like a seasoned veteran through hard earned experience Mark.
There's no doubt about it that the best benchmark for any driver is his teammate in a similar car if both drivers are of the same standard, that is.
The time for diplomacy is now over and Mark webber should do everything in his capacity to win the 2010 WDC. It's a make or break year for him, and like Jenson Button last year, he should full advantage of the best car on the grid. His teammmate is fast but foolish.

I am rooting for Webber. Last season he was not consistent, had a poor run at the season's end which cost him a wdc... I think he won't make that mistake this yr, his focus is there, his fitness is there. i think RBR are starting to realise that he is their main man for 2010.

Here's what I don't like about Webber...

When he's winning - a relatively rare occurrence until recently - all's well in the garden. Lots of grandiose hugging to all concerned ...even Mr Vettel!

Watch him lose pole, or god forbid a GP, and his face looks like a baby's slapped ar*e! Bad loser? Is Colin Farrel a total kn0b?

Add to that... all the previous years nasty back-stabbing little comments about former team-mates especially immediately at end of season, when they're no longer in the same team, and you have a guy of questionable character!

Jeez... what I wouldn't give for a top racing drver today with some charisma!

"charisma" you say? charisma won't get you a WDC. these guys are the most competitive, cranky, highly strung, f#cked up units in the world. expecting them to be nice to each other is ludicrous.

if i was a team owner/manager, and my driver didn't look like he'd just sucked a lemon when he lost a race,i'd sack him for not wanting it (a WDC) bad enough.

MW has finally found himself in both a reliable and competitive car this year and it's all there for him to take if he wants it bad enough.
