F1 » Massa: My championship definitely isn't over yet!

Having tallied more points in the last two races than he had managed in the previous seven - and achieved his best-ever finish in Hungary to-boot - Ferrari star Felipe Massa is adamant he is far from out-of-the-running for the F1 2010 laurels

good on you, flip, for being positive. anything can happen and with the ferraris now on pace, he still has a mathmatical chance of being at or near the top. under last years points system, he would only be about 21 points behind, and many wdcs have come from further behind. however, if ferrari managed to blitz the field from hereon in, alonso would have a better chance of being favoured, due to commercial reasons. and there are others like schumi, who still feel that they have a chance!. flip is one of the good guys, and deserves more success.

qualifying fernando has generally delivered faster lap times, in the race fernando has deliverered faster lap times, the team have told felipe that fernando is faster, felipe should remember that kimi moved over in china 08 even though he was faster, when the team out of benevolence backed felipe and he came up short, it is all in the lap time!

I thought drugs were banned from all types of sport. Whatever Massa's smoking is very effective because he seems to be on a different planet anytime he opens his mouth. Poor fella. I think he has forgotten who he works for and needs a constant reminder.

During Kimi/Massa era, mathematical chance played an important part on deciding who was to support who. It was fair then and both did their part to support when it mattered. With Alonso, nah.....it does not take a math wizard to tell that Massa had as a good a chance to be WDC as Alonso in Germany. The team order then simply meant that Massa's championship chance is as good as gone.
