F1 » Barrichello: Williams F1 renewal 'a natural process'

The ever-youthful, evergreen Rubens Barrichello has hinted that it is simply 'a natural process' to prolong his F1 career into a 19th consecutive campaign in 2011 by renewing his contract with Williams

frank williams will know that he could almost get rubens to drive (and drive it pretty well) for next to nothing, and it could be even cheaper next year, they have the equivalent of michael schumacher without the titles, high cost and the innability to beat his younger and less experienced team mate

Good to hear it Rubens!!!
I for one will be glad to see him next year he is bringing about a turnaround in Williams that can and will eventually lead to a win.

As for people saying he is beaten by his team mate, I was under the impression that Rubens was ahead of his team mate in the championship standings. Maybe I am mistaken :?

Eponymous is being used in a correct manner here... Frank Williams IS the eponymous founder of the team. I don't see a problem.
And no way you can compare Rubens with DC or Ervine... if it wasn't for him, Williams wouldn't be where it is now. Meanwhile neither DC or Ervine were half as good as he is is setting up a car.
And no, I am not a RB fam... just facts here. :p

How lucky is Nico? Rubens is always talking him up and supporting him. Not many in this sport would do that. Took him under his wing and teaching him the F1 ropes. Really cool to read! Well done Rubens! Class act!! :)

@MichaelE . . . Agree 100 percent Rubens seems to be giving his team more than the 'baron' is giving merc, he is hunting schumacher down in the championship standings (is that a first for rubens vs michael), im sure rubens had a bit of 'i'll show him' in hungary
