What would you expect from that feeble minded, greedy, carny fingered midget(that was for whomever told me enough of the CARNY FINGERED reference) He only cares about the money. If he hears people starting to complain about anything he grabs a pitchfork and tries to lead the mob not even thinking about what effect his comments might have. He would have made a great politician. Say what the people want to hear. No true feelings, just what works for him at that moment in time. He can always waffle on it later which he is good at. Just look at what he said about women in F1, a year later he wants Danica to give it a shot. Typical scumbag!

I guess the truth hurts for Virgin then. Virgin, HRT and to a lesser extent Lotus are tootling around at the back of the grid going nowhere and getting in the way. basically, they are very expensive, mobile chicanes.

Surely BE's comments should inspire these tail-end charlies to do better and prove him wrong?

Ed - what on earth is "Carny Fingers"?

@Andrew, If you have ever been to a carnival you have seen them. The people that typically run the rides have them. Due to years of "carny type" inbreeding the offspring end up with small "carny type fingers". I believe it to be a natural phenomenon. I would also like to add that I think we are talking about multiple generations in order to achieve this result. Basically, only blue blood Carny's would have them. This "phenomenon" has allowed the operators to get into small places and be more efficient at their job of running the rides and repairing the machinery when it breaks down. I believe this to be gods will! Anyways, hope that explains it. :p :D Ed

I think the best Bernie doppleganger that I have heard is Mr. Burns on The Simpsons. Recently I saw an old picture of Bernie (pre-grey hair) and Max. In that picture Bernie had a surprising resemblence to a young Joe Pesci.

Am I missing something here? i just don't get the attacks on the new teams, have they all forgotten that there is no more testing other than the race weekends?.
These new teams are expected to be up to speed without the unlimited testing of previous years.

As much as i think Eddie Jorden and Martin Brundle are good at their jobs they also expect these teams to be doing better......if that is the case then let the new teams have extra tests for the 1st year on the grid.......
