Yamamoto 10 seconds off the pace.... joy

Did anyone watch practice??

Spa is ruined... The challenge of the circuit is gone! Even drivers were moaning about it say there is too much tarmac run-off so now drivers get away with anything!

Le combe.... no more bumpy grass... just a slab of tarmac with speed bumps!

And the on-board shots around blanchimont.... even the Virgins were taking it flat out in the wet!

The great Spa challenge is gone....

So where are all the idiots saying Redbull will dominate if its wet?
Last time when it was really wet was china and which team got a 1-2 again?
It might be a good Alonso vs hamilton duel here as it seems Button is nowhere and massa even further behind in the tune of 3 seconds which just illustrates how fast and good Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton are.

James, yes I watched it and yes, the circuit does seem a bit tamer. But I think the real issue is that each driver only gets three sets of wets for the whole weekend so I expect the drivers need to limit themselves to one set of wets today and tomorrow morning so they have one new set for qualifying and one new set for the race, just in case the rain is relentless. So I imagine no-one in the top order was pushing too hard this morning. In fact, Merc had already packed up when there was still 15 minutes of the session left.

It seems it's been raining all over Europe:)
I didn't watch it.
It's just practice, they are testing new parts and settings. It's a nonsense to draw any conclusions now.
The Qualif time will say sth but the result will be known on Sunday.

Tea Leaf: "So Merc's now in the 'top order' are they!?"

Well they are 4th in the WCC out of 12 teams. By most standards that is a pretty good performance.

@ Tealeaf All the Button fanboys can't handle the truth! I like Jenson, but the truth of the matter is he's just not as good and fast as Hamilton! In the early part of the season he made some good tire choices and got lucky! Now, we're seeing what we expected! LH is just a better driver! Stop living in denial fanboys! It is what it is!
