F1 » Alonso: F1 title chances haven't been harmed by Spa DNF

Ferrari star Fernando Alonso is insistent that despite having seen his deficit to the top of the points table more than double following his costly accident in Belgium, he still retains 'a real possibility' of F1 title glory in 2010

Having to rework the front wing caused Red to lose a lot of speed. His chances are now slim to none. And Monza will have additional front test which could further slow the bulls and red. McL looks to be in the cat bird seat now. Monza will be a McL track. Two in a row for Lewis is my guess.

With luck on LH's side, it's highly possible that Mclaren wins in Monza. But I hope FA does better (with some luck which he hasn't have this year)and be a contender for title. LH doesn't deserve it this year honestly!

2005 - Winner because his car was more reliable than the Mclaren, Kimi was always faster.

LUCKY win in Bahrain
LUCKY second in Spain
TEAM ORDERS win in Germany

Oh wait... he is brilliant and the best driver.

Don't make me laugh.

Amir, the only two people to deserve the title are Webber and Hamilton.

Hamilton has driven brilliantly - winning against the superior Red Bull is no easy task.

He had second place stolen in Spain on the last lap by car failure. He had a retirement in Hungary due to car failure - He would be neary 30 points ahead of Webber.

HAMILTON hasn't been at fault for any retirement this year - WEBBER took out Hamilton at Australia, WEBBER crashed at Valencia. VETTEL crashed at Turkey and Belgium

If Alonso thinks losing 25 points to Hamilton and 18 to Webber makes no difference, he really isn't very bright.

AmirISwrong -- totally agree. Hamilton's been THE stand-out driver this year, making fewer mistakes than Vet/Web/Alo whilst keeping his incredible pace.
