F1 » 'Impetuous' Vettel told: One more error, title is gone!

'Crash kid' Sebastian Vettel has been told to 'stay calm and focussed' by Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner - as Niki Lauda warns the under-fire young German that his F1 2010 title hopes are hanging by a thread...

Well RBR has to favour one driver sooner or later otherwise the title will vanish into thin air. The quotes from Horner i couldnt agree with more.

I think this championship still has a few suprises left in it yet.

Crash kid.. I love it.. Better than vetvet.
One more mistake and your world championship will be over. Then you will have to drive for your team-mate, which would be the ultimate penalty. Lauda makes this comment after throwing Red under the bus for team orders. Two crazy signs are needed now. One for Vetvet and one for Lauda.

Per DC "F1 is no finishing school". That may have been the case at one time but now most drivers are coming to the series in their teens. The brain is not finished maturing until around 25 or so. Plus it is not like DC didn't have his growing pains. He is the only person that I have ever seen take himself out on the pit entry (in the lead no less).

Rob01 - great point about Lauda and team orders!

I may be following Mark Webber's progress through F1 over the years, but that doesnt make me a Red Bull Fan.In fact I would prefer that Webber went to Ferarri or even Force India. It makes me sick to hear the excuses they make for their young charge. When Webber is involved in anything its Webber's fault according to the team, which will always go against obvious public opinion. This is to RBR ,stop putting your eggs into one basket and give them to a guy who truly deserves your support and isnt a basket case.Wake up you sycophantic bunch of dills and start acting like a real F1 team.

I'm thinking he's not THAT good. In qualifying the battle is only 7:6 for Seb as well, as the only time RBR didn't get pole Webber was 2nd before Seb.
Btw again a testament for RBR's favouritism of Vettel over Webber as you'll remember last year it was a different story but as it would seem now only because Webber usually got sent out with a heavy fuel load.

IMO Vettel seems to do well on the boring stop and go tracks but doesn't quite manage to get it together on flowing tracks like Silverstone, Spa and Montreal. And yes, he's too aggresive overtaking. Rather than wildly weaving around all over the tail of the guy in front he should just pick a moment, make one move and make it stick.

Webber fixed the team orders bull when he said not bad for a number two. And did anyone else notice how well Lewis,Robert and Webber get along. Both the post qualifying and post race interviews were good. Didn't seem like an ego in the room.
