F1 » Yamamoto reveals he will 'finish the season' at HRT

Having initially been brought in as a test and reserve driver to help with development, and then promoted to a race cockpit at Silverstone, Sakon Yamamoto has confirmed that he will now complete the F1 2010 season with Hispania Racing (HRT)

Looks like we will be seeing Toyota back in F1 very soon. This coupled with Renault story makes it seem that the manufacturers are regretting that they left F1.

If this is correct, then it's shocking. (From Wikipedia profile) Yamamoto has never been on pole or won a race in any major series he has raced in and his highest championship placing was in all Japan F3 where he finished 4th.

It's a shame given Chandhok was doing a reasonable job in the car and would have easily been worth leaving in the seat to see how he progressed. Money talks I suppose..

He's not good enough! He didn't do the job for Spyker of Super Aguri. If it was a performance decision why was Klien not given a go? He discredits F1 and Chandok or Klien should be given the seat
