Well they did offer to continue supplying the same tyre to the same regs but the FIA but it out to tender and they went in the cream puff. I guess the tyres ere developed and they didn't want to spend the R&D cash. Maybe the FIA didn't want the same tyre supplier for WRC & F1.

I suspect michelin will get the WRC contract.

I note that Pirelli are testing at Paul Ricard in France.

700 to 1000 Euro per kilometer for an F1 car. Hence why the small teams are happy there is no testing or limited in F1. MS is said to have complained that not having testing during season was crazy. He said the top formula and no testing. Doesn't make sense to me either. Let them test as much as they want.

Actually every one will be using pireli tires.. So how good are them we can't compare because it's single supplier so really, if they say they have completed testing we also can't say a thing?
