F1 » Schumacher admits even he can't counter the laws of physics

Whilst still refusing to accept that he is no longer the same driver who once tore up all the F1 record books, Michael Schumacher has conceded that age has played a role in his disappointing comeback to top flight competition with Mercedes Grand Prix this season

Give him a car built for and set up for him a fast car like the red bull is,the mclaren was,the ferrari was, the renault was,the williams was when they won the championships and he'll win again.
i don't go with all this ageist bullcrap.F1 nowadays is more about the speed of the car than the skill or age of the driver otherwise the youngest driver would always win.

So MS is basically admitting 'Its all about the car'. So more lustre is removed from his once-great career, its the 1990's FERRARI we should be lauding, not MS. What a Teutonic twit, and I just thought he had started to come to terms with his lot.

@schumi's number 1 fan, I think you are saying the same, MS was just a taxi driver, and he happened to be driving the quickest taxi.

It's always been the case. Keke Rosberg, zero to hero after 'lucking into' the Williams drive when they were at their ****-hottest (Ok he was a great driver too), Jean Pierre Jarier from no-mark one week to pole position and leading by miles the next week when dropped into the Lotus 79. etc etc

Despite all this bile, I continue to hope that MS stays on for 2011 and gets a bit more 'in the mix', if only for increased spectacle

@Piercarlogassolini - What are you on about? Schumacher says nothing in this interview that makes him deserving of a personal attack. You really are a pathetic little chump. When has F1 NOT been all about the car?

As for Schumacher not being deserving of any credit for Ferraris dominance. What a load of toss. If Schumacher didnt go to Ferrari in 1996 then Rory byrne, Ross Brawn, etc wouldnt have gone either and Ferrari would have remained ****. Also, this years Red bull is about as dominant as the 2002-2004 Ferraris and look how much of a has of it Webber and Vettel are making. Schumi in his prime would have the title wrapped up by now.

And i dont think I have ever heard Schumacher say anything other than that you need a really good team to win a title. He has always maintained that and i have never heard him say otherwise.

Tedious, tedious people here.

What rubbish George Zaiden...
Most of you guys apparently forget that both Benetton and Ferrari were nothing before he drove for those teams. If I'm not mistaken, Benetton had never won a World Championship (and neither did after) and ferrari was on a 21 year drought...
Very different from drivers who already started driving for top teams and became world champions... most of them never developed a car and team.
If people don't like him as a person, that's fine, but to say all the rubbish about him as a driver is plain stupid.
Could go on and on, but when plain hatred is your speach then I am just wasting my time.

MC's car now was supposedly for jensen batton set-up, i.e understeering, Mc's set-up is a responsive steering- hence it is hard for him to win under this situation- hoping he will make it by 2011-gd luck schumi

Well I was waiting for this post from Shuey..No surprise "Its The car"..Well maybe, but how do you describe the point difference, and grid positions. For Shuey its time to face facts, 44 points is a D test test score for a former WDC.

What will be really fun to watch is just how long the powers at Merc are willing to play h Shumy's game...Remember money rules...
Ferrari could have put him in the cockpit at any time, they didn't! Ask yourself why?

Monza is next, will he finish in the points?
Really I don't care!
