Button with the fduct got Hamilton. But Vetvet couldn't catch his team mate. Vetvet will have to support Webber from this race on. And hopefully this lays to rest for richard that McL treat their drivers equal. And as usual MS goes down in a ball of flames to Nico.

quite an interesting line-up. i thought that more teams would go for a mixed set up, but it seems that only mclaren are prepared to gamble. maybe the extra drag on buttons car will let him manage his tyres better. does anyone know if all the front running cars were on softs? once again schumi was shown up by nico, but interesting to hear that a number of drivers were spotted going into the merc motorhome. i am sure the rumour mill will go into overdrive. nice to see that both williams are still showing up other more favoured runners. roll on the race, tomorrow!

rob. your post crossed mine. not sure what you meant about me, but it seems to imply that i say that mcl treat each equally. unfortunately i dont believe that. dc again confirmed the team orders rule, and button has clearly put down a marker. he wouldnt do that unless he felt that there was a pecking order. why, tomorrow, he may get off the line quickly and then hold everyone else up, down the straight, and help lulu to get past (pity there are no smileys available -tongue out ones anyway)

Button out-quallies Hamilton, just when all the bashers were sharpening their pencils ready to write how once again Mclaren have used unequal treatment to disadvantage Button to make Hamilton look good. They must be crying in their beer by now. But cheer up guys, there is still a chance that Hamilton will brilliantly overtake the people ahead of him is a series of great passing moves, in which case you'll be able to whine to your heart's content for the next two weeks that Button was given team orders to get out of the way.
