F1 » Button: I expected to pull ahead more

Jenson Button: We didn't quite have the pace to win today. But this weekend was definitely a good one – I scored some good points, and this second place is very useful for my world championship hopes. There's still everything to play for over the next five races.

@ kowalski

New to F1 are we? ask Alonso if HE thinks Button's useless, he spent enough time behind him to evaluate his driving skills.....Button bashers always make me laugh, when he wins its either luck or the car, or a gift from the FIA, then when he doesn't its his fault...Great result for him and ferrari today lets keep the championship close.javascript:insertTextCursor('comment', ':)')

Yeah I obviously must be new to F1 to have this opinion.

You appear to be the one denying that he has only won in exceptional circumstances.

Any offers of an f1 drive will be gladly accepted.

Very harsh comment....

Alot of drivers have won races and championships by being in the best car. He had the best car at the start of the season in 2009 and made the most of it!

Granted he does not have the raw pace compared to Hamilton this season, but he has kept the momentum running again and is still in with a chance of the title.

I wouldn't call that being useless.
