F1 » Trulli: Alonso pushing over-the-limit, RBR 'trying' to throw it away

Jarno Trulli reasons that his former team-mate Fernando Alonso's uncharacteristic errors in F1 2010 are likely the result of the Ferrari star pushing too hard in an effort to make up for inferior equipment - as Red Bull 'try everything' not to clinch the crown...

taz. its nearly as bad as "frome born ace"! but although jarno is handy enough, and brews a half decent wine, it is hardly worthy news to have an article about his views, on the site.

They were team mates at Benetton so he should know how Alonso operates in the best and the worst of situations. It's a pretty good perspective from Trulli who probably knows him quite well.

If Trulli can be friends with Alonso, he can be friends with anyone...well except for Adrian, nice of him to give Heikki a present of his own wine right before quali at Monza

And this is why Trulli was such a crap driver. "pushing over-the-limit" results in your car going off the track, pushing up to the limit is when you get the best from your car without going off the track... maybe if Trulli had understood this simple concept he would have been driving faster all those years... The fact that Alonso stayed on the track means he was not "pushing over-the-limit"... the fact that Trulli sucked even when he had a good car shows that for Trulli "pushing over-the-limit" must be some limitation he has and it is apparently way below where it should be.

Trulli know how it feels overdriving cars...

He happened to BEAT Crying Fonzo in his INFERIOR CheatRinoo during the 2004 season...before being sacked: The GoldenEggs Chicken was being outshined by the italian.

Fisichella had to cope with this Singaporesque team as well the year after: Malaysia, Canada, Spain show that IF a problem was to happen with the R25, maths said that Fisico´s car had 100% chances of suffering it first.

If anyone knows what it is to push it above the limit its Trulli, he's arguably the single best qualifier in F1 these days. He's able to squeeze out more than whats possible out of a car in a single lap.

This is the guy that is responsible for Toyota leaving F1..NO Wins..When he had a respectable car at Toyota he showed nothing...

Alonzo is one of a few F1 guys that can (will) run on the limit, lap after lap..He is Really exciting to watch. True he may go off a time or two, all the best do!
Trulli if you want the WDC you have to drive on the limit, all the best do..

What I still fail to understand just what did Lotus see in this never was.

All the best do!
