that last turn before the grandstand has a fence/wall that has to be incomplete...and was there a still another coat of asphalt yet to be put down?

looks cool and sounds great.

I've only seen F1 twice @ Indy and I tell people the sound of an f1 car is unlike anything you've ever heard....this video is one the closest examples of that

Never ceases to amaze me that circuit designers just can't get it right. Passing in F1 is very difficult on a twisty track - period. Without a long enough straight to afford a passing opportunity the races become boring. Here the circuit designer has once again failed and I'm afraid to say that passing will be nigh impossible. We want to see racing - not processions. Sorry to sound negative, but it's true.

Lots of Tilkes old fall-back 'turn-point-squirt-brake-turn' combinations, which kill overtaking as they only have one line. I can't see it being a big overtaking track - there was little opportunity to outbrake another car.

On the plus side, Karun Chandhok now has the lap record, and if Korea fails its race date, he'll hold it for the next two years.
