F1 » Sutil demoted to P10, no make that P9!

Adrian Sutil misses out on eighth place in Singapore after he is penalised by the stewards post-race.

Its absurd that an incident from lap one doesn't get penalised until after the race. Did they not know about this until they watched the highlights on TV? What of they'd spotted an infringement from Alonso on lap 1? Would they have stripped him of the race win after the podium ceremony? This is ridiculous. Its nonsense. Its outrageous. It shows that F1 has learn't nothing about how to run a race.

I hate it when the stewards leap to a decision too quickly....

I notice Hulk got nabbed for a Lap 1 infraction too - whats with that guy, can he not keep it on the track?

imposing a drive through after the race has finished is ridiculous for an event on lap 1. had the penalty then been served, the safety car would have allowed sutil to basically negate the penalty. as it turned out, he suffered. but then after being demoted to 10th, force india complained about hulkenberg for an incident on the same lap. so sutil got his place back, and only hulk and massa swapped places. the mind boggles!!
