F1 » Alonso: We’re not frightened anymore!

Fernando Alonso: We wanted to confirm our success in Monza at a completely different type of track and we succeeded at the end of a very hard and extremely stressful race, both for me and for the car, on a track that I like a lot and which is well suited to my driving style.

Alonso had a top notch drive today, as did Vettel and some great overtaking from Webber and Kubica.

I think reliability will be Ferrari's achilles heel though for the title run in.

Really gripping though, vintage F1 season.

Great stuff.

To "Not Hamilton Fan":
You are off of your tree. Hamilton is a very good driver, but has to temper his aggressivity a little bit so that he does not make mistakes, which in F1 are very costly. Alonso is a very good driver who uses his head to bring the car home in one piece and collect the points. Big head? maybe. Peanut brain? definitely not (unless you were looking yoursel in a mirror...

Ahaha! This is getting better by the minute!

I thought Puerto Ricans could speak (proper) Spanish, we're talking about one of your official languages, dude!

If anything, Alonso would be a 'machista' (sexist, male chauvinist) or a 'macho' (tough guy) - which remains to be proved anyway, but calling him a 'machismo' (sexism, male chauvinism) makes absolutely NO SENSE!!!

Vete a comprar un diccionario tio, que tu espanol esta fatal! Jajaja!

I'm pleased Alonso isn't frightened any more - I don't think I could cope with him crying like a small child when things don't go his way again.

Good driver, don't get me wrong, but you have to take responsibility for ALL your actions.
