F1 » Ecclestone: We'll be 'lucky' if Korean GP goes ahead

On the same weekend as he professed his insistence that the troubled inaugural Korean Grand Prix will go ahead, Bernie Ecclestone has conceded F1 will now need to 'get lucky' to race there

Pity if its not ready, seems like a good circit, unlike the circuit yesterday which has got to be the most boring, uninteresting circuit in the world. Watching it yesterday I lost the will to live after lap 4.

I think your confusing Singapore with Valencia which is coma inducing.

For a street circuit there was a reasonable amount of overtaking, lots of incidents etc

It's hard to overtake on street circuits and the high aero nature of the cars doesn't help.

I like bikes but MotoGP has been coma inducing this year, for once F1 is delivering, don't knock it.

As for Korea (assuming it happens), don't expect brilliant racing...it's a tilke circuit.

I hope it works out more entertaining than SINGAPORE,we had to watch a lot of laps between the action it was like racing in a zoo with all the fencing, thank goodness there was WORLD SUPERBIKES on another channel at the same time.

Usual Bernie spouting ********. I have no idea whether Korea is looking likely to go ahead or not, but I would take anything Bernie says with a pinch of salt.

The guy says things then completely contradicts them 5 minutes later. He does it all the time. I can only think he must like being a wind up merchant because I don't believe that someone who has amassed the fortune he has can be short of brains.

@max, you must be VERY VERY VERY hard to please because that was a good race yesterday, i dont like what resulted with LH and MW but all in all it was good

@Bernie E. if you were smart you would get another circuit to replace it right now for this year, say...i dont know....IMOLA!

Wouldn't it be great if they ditched Korea to do *TWO* race weekends at Suzuka instead? No one will complain since they're going there and everyone loves Suzuka!
