Ross Brawn says 2011 is important for Mercedes - more so than securing fourth in the standings this time around

freddy. merc MAY be good next year, but also MAY be useless. nobody knows. all teams have the same info as the others, and brawn misused this years info. they may just do that again next year. nobody can foretell the future. even hrt might come good and outperform everybidy. but read the daimler statements, they do not want to spend much on the team. failure to allocate adequate funding, is not a recipe for success.

There's pleanty cash in Stutgart from selling overpriced Mercs to people with bad taste, suede elbow pads, beige trousers and too much money. They don't need to worry about prize money.

Development on the 2011 car started a while ago. It'll be difficult (but possible) for Merc to mess up next year like they have this year.
