They could have made this decision right away!
However, it looks like there's a high chance of rain again tommorrow morning. What will they do then? Entry list?

They better be careful in qualy, a bit of damage could take them out of the race..

line up in entry number order?? so schumi would be third on the grid??

but if memory serves me correctly, i have a faint recollection that once, in 60s or 70s, quali was called off and the grid was lined up in practice order.
can anyone confirm that this happened?
it would seem a more logical move.

Sorry but i dont see why practice positions should be used.... after all practice times especially in the early sessions are mainly used to evaluate strategies and performance, so we might as well draw numbers from a hat!!!.

If it rains in the morning and there is no qualifying session, and then the race would start in the dry with the cars lined up in entry state, viz: Button, Hamilton, Rosberg, Schumacher, Vettel, Webber, Massa, Alonso, then the race would be presented to McLaren on a silver tray.
With Rosberg and Schumi on the second row, both the RBR's and the Ferrari's can expect to be held up for some laps. It will not be a lottery as anticipated but a major farce which will reward the McLarens.
The most logical and fairest way out of this would be if the cars are lined up in order of finishing in their practice sessions on Friday.

it looks like bad luck for QP may have turned into Hamilton's knight in shinning armor...QP on a cool morning track may put him on even terms with his rivals...hope he does'nt blow it-AGAIN!!!!

If there is no possibility of a qually session before the race, assuming that the race goes ahead, i would be happy for the drivers on their way to the grid to do ONE out lap staggered by a few seconds, just ONE timed Lap, and ONE formation lap to their relevant grid positions! my system would require the drivers to be run in reverse championship order, therefore giving the leaders a more even chance of competing against each other on a drier/cleaner track thus affecting the championship battle in the smallest way possible!
And if any driver bin's their motor at any point after leaving the pit thats just unlucky!

What do you all think?
