Read and still have his autobiography - the version with no mention of being Stig, so I know he's telling the truth. The later editions had a different cover picture to the one in the photo, showing him in a Stig outfit, rather than the period Andrea Moda shot. Very funny book and well worth a read.

Have to agree about the Ben Edwards comment too.

one thing i like about this world, is that the truth eventually surfaces, but should we wait nearly a decade to know it, also as per the post above, when did the guy race F1.

Do wonder whether Brundle would find Ben Edwards a little 'excitable'...isn't that what John Watson initially said of him when Ben took over F1 duties from Allard Kalff at eurosport in the 90's....'calm down Ben, really' and he really tried but he's still that bit excitable for Brundle I reckon. Now Kalff would be a fantastic choice if anyone remembers him ????

Would be a great move on the Beebs part too replace Dullard with Ben.
Ben gets a dream job and instant worldwide fame to compensate for his years of anonymity and "modest wage" (although i'm sure he'll do pretty well from the book) and The Beeb get The Stig commentating on F1.
Great picture of Damon from the days before he looked like he'd led an expedition to the South pole.
