Why is F1 and sort of Moto GP worry about the money and sponsorships? Who cares about the money and that. It's the talent what counts the most and he's done enough to stay where he is. Heck he's even beaten Rubens more than once this year. If anyone should be out of a drive talent wise is Rubens. Who the heck is Pastor and Sutil isn't impressive enough to take Nico's seat.

While Hulk has had his fair share of mistakes,he has had a decent rookie year. He doing better than Petrov who brings lots of cash to Renault and IMHO in a better car than Hulk. Williams will have to crunch the #s. Eddie Jordan brought up a good point in that if a driver bring cash, but is unable to deliver the points, it might cost the team more because they would finish lower in the constructors championship which determines the $ teams get next season. This is exactly the situation Petrov is in right now. Had Renault had an experienced driver vs Petrov, they would easily be challenging Merc for 4th which could be worth more than the $ Petrov is bring.

IHMO, give Hulk 1 more season. At least he is a known quantity vs Maldonado who is unknown. As for Sutil, I don't see him going to Williams for a specific reason. That would not be much of an upgrade for him.

I am not picking a fight but I have to say that your comment "Rubens is the one lacking in talent" is rather daft,

Rubens ran Schuey close on numerous occasions despite a number 2 contract / treatment by Ferrari,

He also raced a Stewart to 2nd in the rain at Monaco lapping everyone except Schueys Ferrari,

He pretty much matched Jenson at Brawn on pace and beat him for the second half of the season winning races along the way,

He has been very good in the Williams this season and Sam Michael has described him as the best driver at Williams for 10 years.

Hulkenburg has done ok but nothing amazing IMHO.

Rubens deserves to be in F1 ! Period !
