Great - do away with 'all' aero packages including the wings & narrower slick tyres - revert back to stick-shift manual transmission and normal foot clutch & Remove the rev-limiter ! ! ! . . . . . . . Now that should . . . . separate the clever drivers from just the few fast ones (think Button would do rather well !)

over2u, I fully understand your feelings and agree with some but I am sure that with the present 18k rpm engine power band it is not possible to drive/operate the car without a rev limiter also not possible to shift 7 gears using a normal gear shift and clutch with such a narrow power band.
If the modern FI car didn't had what's called an untie stall in the ECU mapping it would be near impossible to drive off/out of the garage.
