F1 » Hamilton: Brazil all about prolonging the challenge

McLaren-Mercedes might have 'only the third-fastest car' as the F1 2010 title battle nears its conclusion, but Lewis Hamilton remains optimistic the team can outwit arch-rivals Red Bull Racing and Ferrari in this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos

more upgrades hammis a supremely fast pedler but can the mclaren come up trumps in brazil?? Even though button may be in a chance of the retaining his WDC the reality is his hopes will be over after this weekend. Surely Hammi will get some support or it may cost mclaren dearly. Even so the Alonso ferrari combo is working beautifully and rbr are fast everywhere makes for an interesting weekends racing.

The weather in Brazil can often play a part. It is also a track which is good for overtaking. If Ferrari think they need a new engine for one of the last two races then I'd expect them to take it here as there is more chance of the weather mixing up the pack and nullifying any early advantages.

If there is a mad dash to the pits then Mclaren have to give priority to Hamilton, even if it means leaving Button out for a lap and wrecking his race. Obviously Ferrari would do the same with Massa. But what would Red Bull do?

@Micheale its being reported that this race he will use the monza race engine which isnt that old though monza is a power circuit but it should be fine. And for abu dhabi he'll use the revised bahrain practice and quali engine. So maybe its time to change your slogan

MichaelE are you running an Obama-style campaign against Alonso? lol

Are you sure you're not Hamilton's younger brother? What will life be like for you on this here forum, if he goes on to lift the title? Hahaha

As I said some time ago both FERRARI cars/drivers have one unraced engine left that is only permitted to be used in the last race so it will end the season having done just one race.
For Brazil FA will use an engine on its second race.
