F1 » Williams hints at unchanged line-up in F1 2011

New GP2 Series Champion Pastor Maldonado may have a long wait in the wings at Williams, it seems, with Sir Frank Williams hinting at renewed contracts for both Rubens Barrichello and Nico Hülkenberg in 2011...

Sir Williams put on his thinking cap. Take the money and the gamble that comes with Maldonado, and it is a Gamble. Just look at the other pay drivers that have come and went.

You have two birds in hand, no Gamble here, play safe, keep what you got. Short on bucks, pinch Bernie he has heavy pockets...

15m looks inviting, Maldonado is a big gamble, I wouldn't, not with my monthly Social Welfare Check....
Never.

At the moment they have a young charger and a prima donna has been. Maldonada comes with a good record and a bag of cash. Williams should take the chance and ditch Barrichello.

If Maldonada turns out to be crap they still have a huge wadge of sponsorship money. So hiring the kid turns out good for Williams.
