How long till we get the first idiot posting a comment and judging things to come just by reading the times and not watching practice?

"oh my god Ferrari are screwed this weekend! look how slow they are going" blah blah blah....

I still think it is Red-Bull's track and they will be on pole (yet again).

Time will tell and we shall see what Ferrari will do in the next session once they get the other engine in

@James Montgomery

Oh my god Ferrari are screwed this weekend!

On a more serious note the WDC is still in the hands of RBR. What they are going to do this weekend is first and foremost what I'll be keeping my eyes on. I fully trust FA to sneak into 3rd by the end of the race pretty much whatever happens else at this point. Let's bring on this race already.

I listend to chequered falg on BBC and I think it was Gary Puffet that was trying to interview him right after the accident. In Gary's words he was so shaken (not stirred)that he did not want to talk...his hands were visibly shaking and it appeared, according to Puffet, that he was thinking about the consequences for next year...time will tell.

james. i am not sure what happened to alonsos car, but i think that it may have been electronic rather than engine. the car started changing down gears and went into idle mode, so the engine was still running and there was no smoke.

May be Alonso was practising with an engine next to the end of its life cycle and knowing that if it burst out on Friday don't cost any penalitation for him. Then he drives in order to set up the car and getting conclussions about the circuit, don't worrying about how the engine works.
Old engines for the Friday try outs and better ones for qualifying and Sunday race.
