Not a bad result overall i suppose. Schumachers race was ruined by Sutil who's engine made it very tough to get a run on him. Nice gesture by Micheal at the end. Nico may have passed him anyway but it wasnt something Michael needed to do. Schumachers strategy never seems to work out anymore. More often that not it has cost him positions.

Also, that is the first time all season that Schumacher has lost a position on the first lap (australia not counted). That is an incredible statistic.

Who actually makes Schumachers strategy calls, his race engineer or the expert strategist Ross Brawn, because nine times out of ten the decisions always seem to ruin his race. Schumi tends to lose places on strategy and Rosberg tends to gain places. You sit there watching the race and some of the decisions look so obviously wrong - very odd.

diarmuid, rosberg was only behind schumi due to his tyre problem, but he was faster than schumi anyway. before the safety car, schumi was just being lapped by the leading cars. i dont know that the teams strategy for schumi, hampered him in any way. the mercs are still best of the rest though.

Yeah Diarmuid and Schumi had made up two places on the opening lap until he was shoved onto the grass by Kubica...

He's been the best started of the season. If you added up how many places he's made on the opening laps at the 17 races, it'll be 30 odd...

Even in Australia he was up to 3rd or 4th from 7 on the grid until Alonso clipped his front wing and sent him over the grass.

Form is temporary but class is permanent. And the Master is all class.

He will be huge next season.

Hopefully his new race engineer will make some better calls, because Shovlin has made about half a dozen poor calls which have cost Schumi position this season

Richard, Rosberg only passed Schumi initially because Schumi was stuck behind a slow Sutil for about 3 or 4 laps before Rosberg pitted...

In Schumi had come out in from of Sutil, Rosberg would have been the same 5 seconds he was behind Schumi after the stops, as he was before...

Andrew Shovlin is MS race engineer. He is the one who makes the race strategy for MS. He showed brilliance during JB's time at brawn but he and JB had the mid season lull last season. I can see that he still couldn't figure out MS's driving style.

If I'm not mistaken, he will be transferred to a different department and a new race engineer will take over on MS side. I think Jock Clear would still be NR's race engineer.

It's very true. Rosberg has seldom passed Schumacher on the track and potentially great races have been trashed by bad strategy in the pit.

No-one can deny that Schumacher is regaining race-winning class. Next season should see a return to the podium and I suspect a less comfortable time for Bambi.

every one was once saying how ross brawn strategicaly led schumacher to all his tittles, but based on what ive seen at merc im finding it hard to see that now,the decisions they have made regarding schumachers pit stops/stratergies. have looked extreamly poor,i even said when schumi pitted he would come out behind sutil and he did ,so if i could see it why couldnt they, well i think they have wanted to give rosberg track position over schumi all season, must be something in the contracts.....
