F1 » RBR: If we lose, we lose...but we won't manipulate

There are conflicting noises emanating from Red Bull Racing ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix finale, with Sebastian Vettel hinting that he will help Mark Webber if need be, but Dietrich Mateschitz insisting his team will not 'manipulate things like Ferrari'

Just try to win it... it seems that RBR is arrogant enough to keep pointing at what Ferrari did, Mclaren and the other moved on and accepted the fact that it's "unofficially" part of F1.. At least Ferrari is open that they are backing Alonso no Matter what, unlike RBR who says they are equal but clearly is behind Vettel, what a hypocrite. And tell Vettel to stop doing that Number 1 stance with his hands when he got pole or Win a race.. He just look damn stupid.

So what Mateschitz is saying is: we have Bernie's money from the Constructor's title, so if Vettel doesn't win, then neither will Webber.....

Still, should be an exciting duel if they are actually free to race... I hope Webber ignores any 'Your engine is hot' calls...

red bull racing have now done there bit and won the constructors championship, both drivers know that they go to the final race with a championship winning car, a position that both drivers would have hoped for at the start of the season, the only problem they have is that by one means or another fernando alonso and to a lesser extent lewis hamilton are also there, lets not spoil the outcome of one of the best championships (2007 included) in quite a while by trying to choreograph the result of the final race, if it were massa, button or any other fanboy favourite in alonsos position most would be up in arms at the prospect of team orders, let them race i say, and give us a proper gloves off spectacle, who ever wins the 'golden boot' well done to them, they have contributed to a momentus season, but red bull are already winners

For Vettel to let Webber past to win the WDC would be damaging to Red Bull drinks marketing and I can see where Dietrich Mateschitz is coming from.

Agree with your comment all the way! The final race is now one NOT to miss. Let's just hope that Red Bull DO let their drivers go for it, and at the same time not take each other off at the first corner...

give ma a break! they don't want Webber to win, and they figured if we lose (Vettel won't win), we'll be whining that Ferrari won only because they played dirty.
I hope Mark pulls the win and takes the WDC.
