F1 » Adrian Newey: I'll be at Red Bull for a while to come

Putting a mooted 'second career' in yacht racing on the back-burner for now, Adrian Newey has confessed he has no plans to leave Red Bull Racing in the near future - hardly words of comfort for rival teams...

Boy, British engineers are just the best in motorsport.

Yeah, I think Ferrari would hire Newey, but he'd have to relocate to Italy, learn Italian, and generaly take crap from Montezemolo about hor glorious Ferrari is (aham, was).

He may want Italians in his team, but several key people have to be the best available (like Alonso). Good thing he's hired Pat Fry, surely he'l create some good cars at the Scuderia in the years to come (2010 onwards?).

Hmmm. Yacht racing. Sounds like Mr Newey would like to expand his fluid dynamics expertise into a realm with vastly different fluid characteristics. It would be interesting to see him design a world-class yacht racing hull.
