I think he deserves it.....as do Red Bull.

He had a high amount of mechanical failures but didn't have a go at his team (Hamilton take note).

I was backing Webber to a degree as it was his last chance but I'm happy Vettel won it, Webber blew it in Korea and his qualifying performance on Saturday still run Vettel and Alonso very close.

Thought Alonso was magnanimous in his post race interview, quite refreshing.

Vettel - fastest driver in the fastest car won the 2010 WDC title. Get used to the finger!
Webber - couldn't handled pressure, blew it.. But I really feel for that guy! You don't have to handle this much pressure to become WDC.. at least from own team! Guess he will never get a chance to fight this close to become WDC again!
Alonso - relentless driver with amazing talent and focus.. If Ferrari can come up with a competitive car in 2011, F1 races are going to be boring like Schumi days!
Lewis - Amazing talent.. Moments of brilliance in 2010. Need to tie together a string of performances to be champion in 2011 with such a grid!
Button - Lucky he won couple of races in the rain. Otherwise a perfect no-2 at Mclaren, just like Kovaleinen.
Massa - Perfect gentleman.. crap driver in 2010 and team man!

Richard: "he was not shoved straight into a winning car, like lulu"

Oh give it a rest Richard. If you think Hamilton had it easy then what has Vettel had? Hamilton gets his first drive in F1 at age of 22. Vettel at age of 20. Vetttel, youngest person to drive at an F1 event, youngest driver to start a GP, chosen ahead of Paul di Resta who had beaten him in F3 Euro. So its okay for Vettel to be helped in his early career by both BMW and Red Bull corporations, but because Hamilton won the seat at Mclaren ahead of Pedro de la Rosa you think Hamilton is somehow undeserving?

JC, Hamilton's parents are divorced and his father took a second job to pay for his karting and early racing career, although a lot of people seem to think he was sponsored by Mclaren since he was in nappies. Like all drivers, these two didn't pay their own way into motor racing by taking a paper round. What I don't understand is why Hamilton gets so much criticism when people like Rosberg is the son of a former WDC, Button is the son of a rally driver, and other drivers get drives because they have a big corporate sponsor buying the seat for them.

Well done Vettel and well done Red Bull World Champs!
An honest result.
Ferrari/Alonso CHEATING DOES NOT PAY! Ha ha ha
Bit sorry for Mark though.
V nice to see Jens and Lewis warmly congratulating Vet. They are true sportsmen and gentlemen. A credit to our sport.
Shame Alonso can't be dignified in defeat. His behaviour is truly disgusting.
Hope Petrov keeps his seat, good job Vitaly, you made my day.
Hope Alonso never wins another title, and I did used to be a fan, in his Renault days. He makes me sick.

With all due respect to the british whiners here, Fernando alonso made a innocent comment and it looks like he would like to throw away those ferrari mistake to him and yet this people here in forum are trying bash him out. Can't you guys do something else? or just go away. In other words the gesture of fernando alonso on witaly petrov was due to their final battle scene if you take a look at youtube the tv director certainly miss this fight, therefore misleading alot of views in reflection that fernando alonso cannot overtake. and its because the aerodyanmics of the cars with the nature of this track, particulary if you try to slipstream a car that a inches away from you after going in long straights and into slow corners, you'll slip away its just going into nervous mode making your car banging into sideways as you seen how bad the aerodyanmics of this car and max mosley screwed this because of his cheap f1 plan. And thats why lewis hamtilon tried his at most to overtake kubica but i

Well done to Reb Bull Vettel racing. I am not going to bag Seb because he won, I'm going to bag him because he's an immature, full of himself upstart who I find acerbic. The pity is we may have to put up with him for a few more years, unless RBR become more balanced. All the best to Mark, I hope he has a huge year next year!
