Looks like we have another great Aussie driver in the making.
Lets hope if Webber gives it away at the end of 2011, Ricciardo can step up and take his place fo 2012.
Apparently his testing time would have been good enough for 3rd in qualifying for the last race.

Results show that at the end of the day, he did a 1:39.6xx which would have placed him 3rd on the grid behind Vettel and Hamilton, and on row 2 with Alonso.

Not bad for a kid who isn't a full time F1 driver and only had 83 laps.

This kid is proper fast. Within three years, I can see him collecting a podium, and if they put the right car under him, a WDC within five.
He's got the combination of consistent concentration with flashes of brilliance that separates f1 journeymen from f1 stars.
I really, REALLY want to see what he could do on the other side of the garage to Vettel. Two young guns shooting it out in 2013, when turbos make their return would be mind bogglingly fantastic.
Oh, plus he's got the best schnoz since Fernando Alonso. I think Newey might add some diffusers to that thing to generate some extra downforce.

Whata collection of hot foots getting a chance to show what they got.
By F1 standards today performance is not really important, all have a high degrees of Talent. What is really important is what sponsors or just outright cash can be brought to the table.

Talent on display, one would hope so. A Fat check book is the real requirement.
No gold, no seat, it just that simple..deplorable!
