F1 » Alonso: Losing hurts, but doesn't erase the positives

He might have been left with 'a bitter taste' in the mouth after missing out on a third F1 drivers' title in Abu Dhabi last weekend, but Fernando Alonso insists the end result does not detract from a 'wonderful' year with Ferrari

Well then richard, you contradict yourself.

Quote:
"and currently it has been proven that vettel "is the best in the world"

I accused you of doing exactly the same thing as Jense by making an "authoritative and simplistic" statement yourself - and you proved me right! And first you make the statement, then you go on to say that Loeb is probably the best. Which proves my point about the simplistic nature of the original statement.

There are too many permutations to the entire process and you know it, because you made reference to it. There are inferior cars, superior cars, A aggressively taking B off in race C, X taking points off Y in race Z, etc. You may even be right that someone like Loeb is probably the best, because he displays a wider range of skills including speed, versatility and car control in varying and more difficult conditions and so forth.

But my bigger point is don't criticise people of making statements and doing THE SAME things you sometimes do yourself!

dont talk. i didnt report you for saying anything about eddie, because i have no knowledge of what you said, having been in hospital for a day. if what you said was abuse, then i am glad that someone reported it.
and for your info, you will get some info if you click on my name and read my posts. i am not 12 years old (which would make me three years older than you) but i am a grandfather to four, and have been following f1 since the 50's, giving me some insight to the sport. one day youu are saying that i am 12, the next you are saying that i am bernie, or max, or jean! if only.....!
now please stop the personal attacks and have proper debate.

@richard, it goes both ways. You have made comments towards me, I to you. Freedom of speech. If you didn't report me, it was Eddie then, and we all know you 2 are peas in a pod. For the record, my comment which I got suspended for was for telling Eddie that he loves rubbing it in, and here in Oz, with his big mouth, he's the type of bloke who would get his head knocked in. Is that abusive? Anyway, i'm a father of 5, 39 years old and have followed F1 and all forms of Motorsport my entire life. I even frequented the speedway when I was younger. Check some of my post, I'm no idiot either. Outspoken, maybe, opinionated yes, but no fool! Truce called with you Richard, but not Eddie.
