Did Vettel tell you to keep your pie hole shut next year? Or that the number ONE would be on his car and the number Two on yours. Mark is finally understanding his place.

I thought Vettel told him if he needed help call the medical car. Shoot him the crazy sign Vetvet. This gesture by Mark is to save his job. Vettel has the team built around him as Horner has said. Mark just looking to keep good with the boss(vetvet).

No CommodoreS they are talking like a team. Lewis said he is happy that Jenson will have imput from the word GO this coming year. They get along fine. No crazy signs on their team. They took second in constructors and that was the best possible for the team.

A magnanimous gesture from a straightforward and popular guy.

However, my only reservation is that I wonder if he is being a bit TOO magnanimous. After all, can you see Vettel doing the same if the reverse situation had unfolded?

As far as I can see, he has (in a sporting sense, at least) done nothing wrong this year - so if anything it is Vettel who should be seeking him out to "clear the air".

If he is to challenge for the title next year, he has to be sure not to back himself into a corner where he becomes the undisputed second driver, as with Massa. Vettel now holds most of the cards now, and will undoubtedly try to make the team his own now - if indeed he hasn't done so already.

Stand your ground Mark! And good luck for next year.
