F1 » Crash.net's F1 2010 top ten: 7th

In at number seven as our F1 2010 top ten countdown continues is a man who many said hadn't a prayer of defeating his team-mate pre-season, yet who went on to destroy him - Nico Rosberg

I actually never expected Schumacher to outpace him. The man is a star, and is patiently waiting for the time when he can have a winning car. Pretty smart guy too. Aside Fernando I think he's one of the guys (along with Vettel)who can deal with Lewis Hamilton's raw pace if they were in the same car.

But for a young star I just think he needs to make himself more prominent. He's a bit too anonymous for someone of his caliber. He should hire a good PR person.

It is ridiculous that he is only number 3. Why for instance is Button ahead of him? Button fluked two races and was destroyed by Hamilton for the rest of the year. He only finished close to Hamilton in a number of races as Hamilton was normally cruising by that stage. Yes he finished close on points to the others but that was mainly because the top 3 cars were waaaaay ahead of everyone else.

diarmud. have i missed a full list???? rosberg number THREE, and there is no sign of button as yet. he may well be outside the top ten, although i doubt it.

but if nico is 7th, and trounced schumi, does this mean that schumi is in the second division??

I had lunch with Ross Brawn the Mercedes team boss recently and I think the new car will be much more suited to Michael's driving, oversteering into corners," he told the Times. "The new tyres mean Michael can also develop them to his style and, with a better-balanced car and his incredible belief, he will be a huge contender for the world championship. He can do it.

Nico your days are numbered.

total speculation, rob. car not built yet, and pirelli tyres not signed off. others have said that the tyres tested, were little different to the bridgestones. i wouldnt make any predictions yet! anyway rob, your new favourite, seb, will trounce the two of them!

WOW! I don't like this guy, but I have to say he did a great job this year and gave a FTW to everyone by beating schumacher. You have to put him ahead of Button, Merc had a crap car comapred to McLaren, RB and Ferrari. As I stated before, Crash painted itself into a corner by not issuing grades and making a top ten list. I have a bad feeling Kubica will be 6th and then they will go inorder of the top 5 contenders. Based on performance, you have to put Rosberg top 4. LH dropped in my book by way of his 2 avoidable dnfs and webber was worse by his preformances in Korea and Abu Dhabi. Only Kubica Alonso and Vettel were better based on driving the car they were given. Just my 2 cents.
