Robert Kubica is a man who performed minor miracles for Renault in F1 2010, which is why we have rated him three places higher than his official final position in our end-of-season top ten

Too bad BMW wanted a german to be the star of their team, understandably so for commercial reasons, but sometimes you just gotta go for the best available.

When top drivers dont drive for top teams its a lose-lose-lose situation. Bad for drivers teams and fans. How there can be a commercial justification for that?

Surely a win with any driver would be more beneficial than losing with a driver chosen for commercial reasons.

5th place? WRONG!

You make a point to say that you've placed him 3 places higher than his champ position, but then go on to say that with 9 more pts (at least what he lost in Suzuka) he would have been 6th. So putting him 3 placed higher on your list would make him 3rd, which is where he belongs.

He was a better driver than Webber and Hamilton this season, both of whom where incident and frustration prone (and I'm sure will fill out spots 3 and 4, respectively, on your list). He made the average Renault look like a potential race winner on more than one occasion, while Ham and Webbo made actual race winning cars look decidedly average, on more than one occasion.

Only 5? We are talking about a guy who had pretty bad luck in Silverstone and Suzuka. As far as I remember he was 3rd and 2nd respectivly in those races and had some kind of failure in the car. What do you have to do to be higher in your ranking? I know that comparing KUB with PET is useless, but ROB almost ended in front of Massa and was driving Renault.

You can put his name on the miracle authors of prevoious Championship. Ask Alonso and Ham who they fear the most - Web in the wining car? or Kub in Renault? - for me the answer is easy...

Kubica had no any new part for his car for last 5 races. Renault had to build for Petrov new car almost every race. Kubica had no supporting feedback about car behavior and conditions from teammate who is rookie, ( Petrov for all weekends was looking for breaking points only ).

Thats why Im dissapointed of your judgement... is seems you do not consider all circumstances and your opionion is based on emotions and cars (teams) abilities - not skills of drivers. To prove that - ask yourself what would happen if Alonso overtake Petrov and get a little more points.

5th? like someone said, your opinion is not proffesional. im not a fan of KUB but he was the best driver of the season (not many mistakes, bestresult for an average car, nice overtaking) and overall should be minimum 3rd.

Okej, let's take it this way:
Kubica vs Webber in 2010:
Mistakes: Kubica - In Spa for sure. Web - His flight in Valencia and wierd rollercoster in Korea disqualiffy him. 1:0 for KUB

Takeovers: Web? hm... on Alghersuari on Abu Dhabi :) I don't remember any other, Kub - plenty of the whole season. 2:0 for KUB

Qualiffaing: Web was leading the championship and couldn't find the peace in the final races - he should won it. He had the car. Kub - well poor qual in Abu Dhabi and Hungaroring - beside that - perfect. Let's say 1:1

Race positions: almost the same as qualifaing. 1:1

Game score: 4:2 or KUB :)

Robert is a driver and as a driver he did his job nearly to perfection, except ONE mistake overshooting the pit stop.

We have seen him overtaking cleanly when others wouldnt dare. Dont remember him being overtaken to often.

Good agressive starts and good tyre management.

The second part of the year seemed worse as Renault run out of money and we started to expect more.
