F1 » Hülkenberg in 'talks' with Force India, but won't pay for a seat

Impressive Williams F1 2010 rookie Nico Hülkenberg - presently out-of-work after being dropped by his team, ostensibly in favour of the well-backed Pastor Maldonado - could yet find a home next year at Force India, it seems...

If you don't pay you don't play. So no seat for Hulk. That includes almost any seat, in any major racing series in the world. He better wake up and smell the coffee.

Pay what...Pay Nothing!!

The driver takes all the risks and now in F1 he is expected to pay for the privilege..something sound upside down here..

@ Rob01...NUTS.. go and express that to some of the good old boys at Nascar..You better have a helmet on!

Hulk take the third seat at Mercedes.
Old mike will probably hand it up by mid-season, if not , you will get your
chance.

Jose, they are paying for rides in Nascar as well. If he doesn't have sponsors the Hulk will NOT be in F1. He may be a test driver as those are cheaper to BUY. But none the less. If you can't get the backing in this day and age you will NOT have a ride in F1. Besides there are many with as much talent as the Hulk possesses. Your idea of paying nothing will get you just that. NOTHING.

Talking about Nascar because so many of the F1 drivers are looking to get into Nascar. It's the only series where you can take home 40-50 percent of the winning purse. In F1 a driver gets 5 percent. And Nascar has out paced F1 in terms on new viewers for 10 years running.

I just dont understand why people are so freaked out about this Hulkenberg guy. A driver who was squashed by his teammate "old Barrichello" who btw, isn't known for being fast, just consistent. The fact Hulk was a total and absolute winner in inferior categories, doesnt make him a champ in F1. The fact he did a pole in Brazil was more about luck than speed plus he finished 8th in that race........ So is this guy really impressive? I dont think so!.......impressive rookie? Kobayashi
