LOL ....so-called F1 'fans'

Sums it up really, most spanish alonso fans only care about nationalist crowing. When they do not get what they want, they turn to some amazingly nasty and bizarre conspiracies and justifications.

Scarily similar things happened when I dated Spanish girls, they are lovely people, until they loose something they believe they have won or are entitled to. The they turn into utter nightmares and come up with some truly shockingly wild nastiness.

I doubt Petrov is that bothered, most true F1 fans now love him and he has certainly secured his Renault seat.

Viva Vitaly !

as VP stated even FA had managed to pass him FA then had to contend with more adversary Kubica and Rosberg and i think overtaking them was nearly impossible. world knows that Ferrari ruined their chance when they followed MW for pit.
some speculated Renault did intentionally help SV winning WDC by blocking FA but for what?
wait, what engine does RBR use? well..

I can't help but like Vitaly Petrov, you know. I do hope we see much more of him in 2011.

It's sickening that people would post such abuse on Facebook, and they are probably not as knowledgeable about F1 as they might believe themselves to be. But, frankly, some people are rude and crude on-line everywhere about everything, Facebook, YouTube - anywhere, in fact, where comments are permitted, some people will go out of their way to inflame!

Comment threads on Crash.net also end up all too often as fierce and personal fights, and I would like to appeal for some calm on this one as I can see a little bit of provocation starting already. Please guys... please. Let's not make it even worse!

Why abuse Vitaly? As VP said Fernando would still have had to pass Nico who was running a higher pace than him I believe. Plus Fernando did.nt really make many lunges did he, I think I only saw 2 or 3 real lunges on the TV.

All in all good driving Vitaly!
