F1 » Chandhok aiming to have F1 deal finalised before Christmas

As he bids to seal a deal that will see him return to the grand prix grid in 2011, out-of-work Hispania Racing F1 2010 rookie Karun Chandhok has been keeping himself race-sharp with some GP2 Series testing

I really hope Karun get a drive next year in F1. He would definately be fast. Yamamoto was terrible, and its a discrace to F1 that a driver can pay his way into a seat, rather than having talent. He is a good driver, but not for F1. Karun would be an excellent addition, and his berniness should try and help him into a seat. Just my opinion though, i'm sure many people will not agree..........

I honestly don't know why Karun isn't in F1. I appreciate his GP2 results weren't great but hey, neither were Kobayashi's. The only real reason i cand think of is sponsorship, but with the Indian GP on the way, that cant be too hard can it?

I do want to see him next year, but his chances are almost non-existent at the moment.

Vijay's Force India would not take him, the reason is Vijay likes the undivided media attention in india on his F1 team. If he takes Chandok media will mostly follow the driver than the team.
