Just when I thought Lotus vs Lotus is going to be confusing enough, they announced that Lotus Renault will be in black and gold too.

Nice work with the gold and black livery guys. It would be nice to see this team succeed and Kubica is probably the best man for the job, provided they can hold onto him.

Lotus came back last year...

It's not over until the fat lady sings.

Mr Hunt was still the person who owned team lotus... not group lotus... so in theory the lotus of 2010 was the genuine lotus. They cannot say they are back!

I can see another political/legal battle coming on within the next few weeks....

Lotus seems serious about long term stay in F1. Good luck to them.

We already have Red Bull and Torro Rosso using the same colours and I have to admit ,it is confusing for the commentators and viewers.

As long as both Lotus teams are not exactly the same (red bits help) then thats OK,let them be.

I somehow doubt the Mallya's team will now be the official Lotus after this announcement! Both team is lotus Renault and good luck to the commentators to explain in the race who's who.

Lotus Renault should bring back JPS as well. Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro can keep tobacco sponsorship so why not other teams?

How is it possible for two teams to use the Lotus name?
Is the Mallya team a bogus Lotus team or is it like the Red bull/Torro Rosso set up?

Wow Group Lotus are really making themselves look bad. They're really going out of their way to be awkward. I hope their f1 efforts are shown up by Tony Fernandes' team...
