F1 » Criticism of Schumacher has been unfair, says Villeneuve

An unlikely ally he might be given the pair's turbulent history, but Jacques Villeneuve has sprung to Michael Schumacher's defence over the German legend's disappointing F1 2010 comeback - well, sort-of, at least...

People criticize him based on his performance. his performance was, to be honest, not brilliant when many people expected it to be. it all spanned from his dissapointing rather than poor results.

Jacques Villeneuve has been very fair about Schumacher's performance, no bashing, simply fair and truthful.

2011 till be the year for Shumey, Nico,
will be the challenge, if he fails then it will be time to get off the pot and leave Dodge...

@ Tomva: Evidently the media think he has something of value to say. You can't even blame Crash, as it's been carried by other websites as well.

If you don't think his opinion is worth something why did you click on it?

Before you bash Jacques, name another driver that led, and could have won, his very first F1 race had it not been for an order from the team to save the car.

yes JV's first race was massively impressive, probably the best rookie performance.

if he had not ran wide at turn one and damaged an oil pipe or something. then it would of been very hard for damon to get by. but in fairness to damon he forced him into that error.

his re pass of damon was great too...and im a damon fan!

i totally agree with JVs opinion here. also i think Damon has also said exactly the same thing. you dont write of schumacher!
