DC and Brundle??? My head is going to explode with the information we will get :D

Just add Watson and it will be the most informative comentry team we have ever had! :O

Must admit I am not sorry to see Legard leave... he was repetative and didn't bring that wow factor that other comentators could... plus if you look on the show... he always looked out of place compared to the other crew, just didnt have the chemistry or banter that people like Jake Humphrey, DC & Ej enjoyed.

DC and Brundle is a good paring. Ledgard annoyed me the past two years hes a mooron.
On the other hand David Croft would have been a great fit alongside Brnudle becuase of Crofts enthusiasm and charisma.
It is great to have two former F1 drivers in the commontary box but I feel there is somthing lacking.

But on the whoe great for the fans and F1

It'll be interesting to see DC as a commentator. While I doubt he has the overwhelming enthusiasm which both Ben Edwards and Charlie Cox are blessed with, I think his experience as a former racer himself will compliment the already very knowledgable Martin Brundle.
We've already seen from his work alongside Jake Humphrey and Eddie Jordan that he seems to be comfortable doing tv so I look forward to seeing him he gets on.

David Croft must be overwhelming favourite! His relationship on 5-Live with Ant for the practise sessions is terrific and he knows his stuff. If the BBC appoint Charlie Cox I'll stop watching like I did with MotoGP. DC's an unknown quantity in the commentary box, so the jury's out, but he could be good, as is Brundle.

Coulthard would be as boring as Legard. He is not a suitable commentator at all it effectively would be no change from plain Legard to dour Coulthard.

Thank god for the alternate Radio 5 commentary because if Coulthard gets the job that's where I'm headed.

David Croft and Anthony Davidson are great on free practice. Effortless, pleasure to listen to.

DC? NO NO NO

With DC we would just hear how great and always right RBR is. NO NO NO Please NO DC

Brundle has excelled as a commentator, enough IMO to be the lead guy. And DC with his greater experience of modern cars should make for a very good team.

FFS, Couldthard? Really? He is not a commentator. He is a analyst. He has no qualifications for this role. Two ex drivers as commentators sounds like a recipe for boredom. You need a commentator and an analyst. It should have been Ben Edwards or David Croft.

This will be a disaster. Jesus I hope Schumacher doesnt do anything dodgy next year or he will be slated from here to kingdom come with those two.
