Mercedes is THE spirit of F1. I really hope this team will see some huge success in the near future. This is a big player and all F1 fans should be grateful to Mercedes for its undying support of F1 in all these years.

jimmy. i doubt that merc is the spirit of f1. before this year, they had been out of the sport for nearly 60 years! and where has the "undying support" that you mention. until they bought over ilmor a few years ago, there was NO support for anyone. now, if you meant ferrari, that is totally different!

@Alan D, Perhaps, since Kimi had been at McLaren earlier, he realized that Lewis is Ron's favored one, and that would be made the 2nd driver as Jensen Button was after Turkey...? LH is Ron's golden boy as SV is RB's.

It says Brawn has no plans to retire in the near future. just as well if hes going to stay with mercedes until theyre a winning team. Schumacher had his chance this year and underporformed

I see some posters are going on about gambling being good or bad for the sport-----Well,----I can tell them that any gambling is bad, and has bad effects on sports, people, famillies, youths, adults, children, health, bank accounts, the list goes on, and like drugs, no good ever came from it!

Not really on topic but might be of interest to some.
Despite the resources restriction agreement (RRA) Mercedes who chose to end development early, their rate of development included, 10 front wings packages, 5 floors, 2 engine covers, 6 rear wings packages, and 10 brake ducts packages during the season.
