he is a very talented driver. in India there are very few companies who are willing to invest in F1. As there is a F1 race to be held this year, the companies will now invest. we can expect few more drivers in F1 and motogp from India.

His testing experience could prove really useful to them. If they can cash-wise they'd be smart to hang on to Klien aswell. Not the most exciting name out there perhaps but he didn't really have a fair chance to show his worth at Jordan either. All things considered, not a bad signing IMO.

Feel sorry for Narain... although he's never had the chance to drive good points scoring cars in F1 this will surely be the worst F1 car he'll drive - even the Minardi he did testing in can't have been as bad as last years, and this years Hispania car (if it is finished in time - rumour is it will miss testing and run properly at first race).

@Anand, quite possibly we will see more investment from India, BUT India itself is a significant market so I wouldn't be surprised to see some concentrated advertising/sponsorship from some other big multi-nationals on some cars for that race / around the track itself.

I think this is a good signing as someone else said. I mean HRT needs money (who doesn't?) but they also require an experienced driver and Narain has experience albeit not as much as Klien etc... but he also has money which is a perfect combo. So let's hope things workout for HRT and NK, hes got the 2nd chance he deserves and now its up to him to perform (which he is capable of).
