F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has revealed that he is now not keen on Rome staging a round of the F1 world championship.

So , no Chariots or Gladiators in Rome then. Thats a pity! Maybe Maurizio Flammini could put on his own show - he was an excellent F2 driver, especially round Thruxton in his day!!

I thought Bernie said he only wanted one race per country. He calls the shots, so I guess Rome are done, unless they could alternate the Italian GP with Monza? It's happened in teh past with the German and Japanese GPs.
