F1 » Brundle warns McLaren there may be trouble ahead

BBC F1 commentator and former McLaren ace Martin Brundle fears that the easy relationship between Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button at the Woking-based outfit in 2010 could take on a 'different dynamic' in 2011...

After the shameful shows put up by Red Bull and Ferrari last season, of course most of their followers want Button and Hamilton to behave like babies. That won't happen. None of them has a head as big as Alonso or Vettel. This last two in the same team...that would be fun.

Yeah this is just a media wish. Both guys are mature and friendly..at the risk of sounding too much like my girlfriend lol, these guys were even born under the same astrological sign..the chances of conflict between these two are minimal.
Jenson knows Lewis is faster, Lewis knows Jenson can win races and is no Kovalienien, I think as long as they both understand that, it'll be fine.

It's not media it's Brundle. That said, I think they are pretty level headed guys, but there is always a chance...given the right car Jenny is not going to lay down and will try to win it, that's why he is a racer in the first place. The same goes for lala, and we know that he can be sort of nasty in his own way. Time will tell.

The friction at Istanbul wasn't because Button passed Hamilton, it was because Hamilton thought the team had given him misleading information to Button's advantage. He wasn't mad at Button. He was mad at the race engineers, and by the next race it was all sorted. Brundle trying to drag that up again and make that an issue just seems malicious for the sake of creating a story. That's twice in one week that I've been less than impressed by something Button has said.
