sutil probably is not up there with those listed, but he is a lot better than others on the grid. unfortunately last years car was a heap of junk, and he did overdrive on occasions. so lets not be too quick to condemn him!

No he's not. No way Jose. He's a competent midfield runner. Put him in a Macca/Red Bull/Ferrari he wouldn't stand a chance against the guys mentioned above. They are WDCs for the same reason Sutil isn't.

He might reach the level of Hamilton or even Vettel in the future, but no way he will ever come close to Alonso.

Right now he's on of the best midfield drivers, but not ready for the top. Has a lot of talent, though.

he is fast, but so is many.

he isnt smart or calm in difficult situations. or under pressure. remember the 2 weekends of 09 that his car was stupidly fast. Fisi blew him away at spa and his errors cost him a podium at monza.

but he does have the speed. id put Klien along side him if i was that team.

I Reckon Alonso and hamilton are equally talented..Hamilton is aggressive, alonso has the Finesse...You cant put sutil even in hamiltons level buddy"..

C'mon, how many of you thought Alonso would go onto to what he has achieved when he was at Minardi?

I think Sutil has a lot of talent. The car is to big a factor in F1 these days. If you don't have a good car it's very hard to show what you are capable of. But he has had some good drives and probably deserves a better seat. For example, I think he would perform a lot better in the Ferrari than Massa did last year.

The problem is that Sutil has never had a very fast teammate (Fisi was never able to push him that hard).
Its hard to judge your speed when your teammate is not that fast either.

With Di Resta in the other seat and a more competitive car (hopefully) I think this year will be the first year when we'll see Sutil's real talent. It's his make or break year!
