One thing for sure. The rebranding of Lotus is receiving all the free exposer by the teams having a go at each other. It's a win win for them.

" The Lion" , got to love Mansell , it was a treat to watch him in F1 and Indy cars ( taught them a thing or two about driving ovals ) Actually got to meet him in Nazareth , Pennsylvania USA the day he won the championship. Class act . Current F1 pilots could learn something from him about charging a slower car and actually passing! Ah , the good old days

@joeh - The first Indycar race that I attended (Laguna Seca) was Mansell's last and for that matter it was Mario Andretti's last Indycar race too. Apparently those he "taught" must have learned pretty quick as his second season was not much to write home about.

@mark , yeah sure Mansell was lackluster ???? He won both the Formula One World Championship (1992) and the CART Indy Car World Series (1993). Mansell was the reigning F1 champion when he moved over to CART, being the first person to win the CART title in his debut season, making him the only person to hold both titles simultaneously. He wove himself around the field like they were STANDING STILL . Are u fkidding me , emmo fittapaldi ( the other championship contender ) was his b**ch that day . Won the championship as a ROOKIE , got it .......

@joeh - His rookie season was without a doubt fantastic but I was talking about his fall in his second season. If you don't think that going from 1st to 8th is "lackluster" then we have a different way of looking at things. Like I said they must have learned a lot from him as the next year he looked pretty ordinary.

Please remind me how many races he won in his second Indycar season. Nevermind, I remembered. It was zero.
