F1 » Valencia F1 test times - day one: 1 February - 1pm

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso heads the pack at Valencia halfway through the first test day for F1 2011; Nico Rosberg has brought out the only red flag of the day thus far, stopping out on track in the new MGP W02 with a suspected hydraulic leak.

You know maybe it's is just me but Alonso has two titles already and in my opinion he just doesn't have the attitude of a person who deserves a third. He has this ehhhh attitude that just makes it seem as if he has no drive to win and even when he does well the most he says is "Well it was a good result for the team" Just doesn't. Do it for me personally.

Interesting times though

I think his driving last year told a different story. He's shown over and over again that he'll race to win at any cost, he'll play dirty if he needs to just to win. That has cost him in popularity, at least in the UK (probably in Brazil too now), but I don't think there's any reason to question his desire to race. He may seem a bit grumpy off-track but that's a different story. Maybe he's just not happy as long as there is room to do better?
