Hispania Racing may only have one driver signed up for 2011, but has released an image of its new car several weeks ahead of its scheduled debut in the Bahrain test.

Ya it does look like the BAR. But the design of the car seems good too. I think that they have turned a corner but lets hope they can compete with Virgin in terms of speed. They certainly have a driver who can do that.

Richard, if that is true than I can only laugh at them, people disagreed with me about them on previous page, but looks like they are the same as last year, wonder if they will actually make a pre-season test.

Waste of time team.

...on the other hand, what has "Lotus" and Virgin achieved that HRT hasn't? All of them had comparably slow cars and by the look of it, they still do. The only one that's ran is the Lotus and somehow people seem impressed even though it's still way off the pace. Hopefully it'll catch up but still. People kept saying that HRT wouldn't make it halfway through the season etc etc yet they're still here. I for one think this looks awesome and I think it's a good move by them to have a great designer make their car look good. It'll probably be another tough season but if they keep on fighting, and look good while doing it, both fans and sponsors will be coming. This is a whole lot better than last year's anonymous grey car and I really hope they can keep up at least with the fellow newcomers - which probably isn't an impossible task at all...

HRT.. the car looks really good. The team can only improve over last year. That front wing looks really out of proportion with the rest of the car, really
large..I know its the same as the rest of the
field..Just the rules..We may see some big surprises
this season,,I really hope so..

Last year, the newcomers had to rush to be able to put a car on the grid. Some pundits critics were really ludicrous, with a car and a team from scratch with a limited budget, what did they expect ? Imagine the shame if they were already able to beat established teams.

This year is the first real effort for all these teams after a learning season. If they end up having a gap smaller than 2 seconds to the top, it'll be honourable.
