Good to see Schumi back at the top of the time sheets.

The Lotus Renault team names are a little confusing, they need to get that sorted.

Interestingly Schumacher is 1.1s faster than his time testing that track last year. So far, he also seems to be the only one that is faster than last years February test on that track.

Mil: "mclaren looks like a dog again"

What? Even without all the caveats about only testing, different fuel testing, Mclaren still doing initial shakedown work and Button's first time in the car, even ignoring all those, it is still only 0.001 seconds behind the time set by Webber in the Red Bull. If you think that makes them a bit of a dog, what on earth would you be expecting them to do?

A couple of interesting comments just popped up on the autosport live timing.

* One of the most common questions on live@autosport.com is people saying "I know it's too early to draw any meaningful conclusions... but can you do it anyway?"

* Yesterday the paddock was convinced that Mercedes was in trouble given its slow times and Nico Rosberg's despondent post-session expression - but right now it's Mercedes that leads the way...
